Delhi University launching help lines for admission queries
New Delhi: Delhi University (DU) is launching help lines on Monday to provide information regarding admissions at the undergraduate level.
According to university officials, the help lines will be separate for the north and south campuses.
"The help lines will be functional from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Anyone can call and get their queries answered by either the faculty or trained senior students of theuniversity," an official said.
The help line numbers for north campus are 011-27662507 and 27662508 and for the south are 011-24119832 and 24114634.
"The university will also conduct nine Open Days, beginning May 15, for interactive sessions between aspiring students and their parents with teachers and students of theuniversity," the official said.
The Open Days will help aspiring students get an idea of the courses offered in different colleges, the expected cut off percentages for different courses and colleges, entrance tests and other issues.
The admission process in DU begins in June. IANS
