Indian students face difficulty in getting their tuition fees back

Indian students face difficulty in getting their tuition fees back

Thousands of Indian students are struggling to get back their prepaid tuition fees from Australian universities after their visas were rejected following changes in the immigration policy.
As per media reports, many overseas students, especially Indians, were trying their best to get their fees back after their visa applications were refused due to closure of various colleges in Australia.
Students are seeking refunds from institutes which have been shut either because of federal government crackdown, or are still open but face financial constraints because of a downturn in student enrollments, particularly from India. Under Australian law, course fees must be refunded within 28 days.
As per experts, the outstanding fees could be approximately million of dollars.
