Symbiosis National Aptitude Test

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a common entrance test conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for Post graduate management programme. All institutes that accept SNAP score are either AICTE (All Indian Council for Technical Education) approved or affiliated to SIEC Deemed University. SNAP is conducted in the month of December every year.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate should have completed Bachelor's Degree with minimum marks obtained is 50% (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories only) or equivalent.
• Candidate appearing in graduation final year with result awaited can also apply.

SNAP Test Pattern

Duration of SNAP entrance test: 120 minutes (2 hrs)
Number of questions generated: 150
o General English: 40 questions
o Quantitative, Data Interprétation & Data Sufficiency: 40 questions
o General Awareness: 40 questions
o Analytical & Logical Reasoning: 30 questions ((2 marks each))
The test is based on multiple choices and each question carries one mark.
There is a 25% negative marking for each incorrect answer.

Score for SNAP Test:

• Candidates seeking admission in Post graduate management programme in a primer management institutes must have scored high in the entrance test and get the ranks as per the criteria fixed by institutes.
• The graduates who have scored “between” 98-102 marks in the entrance can get call from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management.
• Those who have scored 80 - 90 in the entrance can apply at SCM-HRD, SIIB and SITM Institutes.
• The graduates aspirants who have scored “between” 86 – 76 marks in the entrance can get call from Symbiosis Center for Information Technology, Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management or Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies.
• Those who have scored minimum 50+ in the entrance can apply at Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR), Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communications (SIMC), Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics and Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences (SIHS) respectively.

How To Apply
• The applicants can now apply for SNAP exam both offline & online.
• The applicants can register online for SNAP test at www.snaptest.org.
• Offline application forms are available on request or by post and by collecting them personally through cash or through demand draft.

• Last Date of online registration : November End 2009
• Date of entrance Test : 3rd week of December, 2009
• Declaration of results : January 12, 2010 Tuesday

  4. Hi, you can register for snap test at www.snaptest.org You need to upload a latest scanned photograph of own at the time of online registration. This will generate your SNAP ID. For different modes of payment different ‘Payment Advice’ formats are created. Choose a payment mode and print a ‘Payment Advice’ form online. Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1500/- according to the payment mode (Cash, Demand Draft, Credit Card, Net Banking).
