We constantly keep on posting some
great news related to study abroad and how things are slowly turning into
favour of students wanting to get into international education, but still we
also keep check on the post which might save someone’s life earnings. At http://gkworks.in/ we genuinely
care about people and make sure that they get the best out of their investment.
But still there are so many cases where we see parents being robbed by luring
them into traps of getting admission
through third party. Recently A neurosurgeon was duped by
six fraudsters of Rs 4 lakh in lieu of getting his daughter PG admission in
a private medical college in Mumbai. The accused, posing as employees of a
medical college, took money from the victims on pretext of registration fees.
According to police, the victim,
Nikita Tiwari, 27, a resident of Shakti Nagar in Govindpura, completed her
MBBS. She took a competitive exam and qualified for postgraduation. Her father
Yogesh Tiwari is a neurosurgeon. As per police, Nikita received three phone
calls from three persons, who introduced themselves as employees of the medical
college, promising her an admission.
Ahmednagar police already arrested
five members of the gang on a complaint filed by another Gwaliorbased medical
aspirant, who was duped in similar manner. On April 24, the victim along with her father went to
the medical college, where they met the accused. The accused posed as staff of
the administrative section and even furnished ID cards of the college, winning
the confidence of the man and his daughter The accused took Rs 4 lakh in the
name of registration and donation.
This incident shades light on
how much important it is to rely on a source which can be trusted, this would
be 4-5 incident that we posted but there seems no end to this, we request
parents to please check the credentials properly before considering any kind of
offer, that is why at GKWorks we
make sure to research our stuff thoroughly as that will be responsible for
decision that parents make before sending their wards abroad, take care.
