New MBA, MCom Programs Launched by IGNOU
From the July 2022 session, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) also established four new MBA programmes in functional specialism areas, as well as an MCom Programme. The new online MBA programmes will be delivered through Open and Distance Learning (ODL), while the MCom programme will be delivered online. Professor Nageshwar Rao, the Vice-Chancellor, officially started the programme in a virtual ceremony.
Candidates interested in MBA ODL programmes should register at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in, while those interested in MCom (Online) should register at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
Learners can now pick and attend an MBA programme in any functional speciality in Human Resource Department, Marketing, Corporate Finance, and Operations Management stated IGNOU in a statement. The MCom programme delivered online would provide highly skilled workers and many other learners with greater flexibility in terms of time and location.MBA and MCom Programs have been IGNOU's flagship programmes because of their unique offers, the excellence of study materials, flexibility, up-to-date content, and capacity to satisfy the demands of all stakeholders, the university noted.
Professor Rao praised the new programmes, saying, All of these programmes have been altered as per today's requirements and are in keeping with the guidelines of NEP 2020.
The Guests of Honour were Professor T V Kattimani, Deputy Chief, Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh, with Prof S A Kori, Vp, Central University of Andhra Pradesh. They praised the University for its ongoing efforts to enhance Management courses.
