CUET Recent updates 2022
On 18th August 2022 , Candidates all over India appeared for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam and it was 2nd day and 4th phase of this exam. The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency, which is also very well known for organizing the most difficult exams in India that is JEE and NEET.
The CUET is basically carried out in two slots–the morning and the afternoon slot. The morning shift starts from 9:00 am and ends at 12:15 pm , the evening shift starts from 3:00 pm and end at 6:45 pm. So, the morning slot is of 3 Hours 15 Minutes and afternoon slot is of 3 Hours and 45 Minutes.
It is Computer Based Exam and more than 3 Lakh students appear for this exam. There are 13 available languages for the candidates to read the questions. This CUET exam is conducted in 6 phases and there are 4 different sections in the exam , the marking scheme is as follow:
For wrong answer there is negative marking of about -1 marks
For unanswered question marks allotted is 0
For right answers 5 marks are allotted
About the exam:
There are four sections in the exams Section IA, Section IB, Section II-Domain specific subjects, Section III-General Test. Section IA and Section IB are language based test consisting of Vocabulary, finding Error, Comprehension, Literature. Section II –consists of general ability , Quantitative aptitude questions ,verbal and non verbal reasoning.
To qualify the CUET , one need to score at least 60 percent marks and the whole CUET exam is based on class 12th syllabus ,one need to revise all the concept of class 12th to pass this exam.
Various universities take part in the CUET entrance exam and offer students different Under Graduate courses under the participating universities.
Points to be checked before going into exam centre:
Before a week of exam admit card are made available on the official website of CUET which is cuet samarth ac in.
All the basic details are mentioned in the admit card provided and candidates appearing must carry their admit card with them while reporting at the allocated centre. Candidates must report to the centre 40-45 minutes before start of exam so that the basic checking and monitoring and issues are solved at the exam centre and candidates do not miss opportunity to give exam as it may lead to academic year gap.
Students need not carry any chits or make use of any unfair means ,doing this can lead to candidature cancellation of the candidate.

ID proof
Blue/Black pen
Admit card
Sanitizer
Problems faced by students in CUET 2022:
Due to certain technical glitch at the examination centre many about 8000 students could not give their exam and miss it ,so NTA has decided to give them new dates for the exam so that they don’t miss their exam.
Many students could not reach the exam centre due to landslide and road block also few states are suffering with heavy rain fall and a note of red alert so students participating from these region too could not reach centre , but government has assured that for these candidates definitely some action will be taken.
Many students also claimed that their exam centre were suddenly changed and now they were helpless as they had no idea of the location of the centre and this apparently had put them and their parents into trouble.
The results of the CUET exam can be expected to arrive in the month of September, and candidates can check their scores on the CUET website itself through login and using their credentials.
For the Post Graduation courses, NTA organizes similar type of entrance exam CUET PG and interested candidates can apply for the same.
The CUET is one the most recognized exam which help student to get admission into some of the reputed universities to complete their graduation.
