JIMS Rohini and Times of India organized HR Strategy Summit on
October 23, 2013, the theme of which was the new "R" word! Re-tooling,
re-skilling and rejuvenating.
An HR Strategy Summit was recently organized by Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS ) Rohini &
The Times of India on the topic R word ; Re-tooling, Re-skilling and
Re-juvenating, providing an insight into the concept of the new age
Human Resource Practices.
It aimed at an
enriched deliberation amongst industry stalwarts on revitalizing the
concept of the new age HR practices. Event was an excellent learning
experience for students and faculty.
Speaking on the event
Mr. Jitin Prasada, Minister of State for Human Resources and
Development said “young and dynamic population of the country needs to
be given the right channel, education and values.”
Mr Manish Gupta, Chairman, JIMS also emphasized on crisis, competition and consolidation faced by the Global market.

addressed the session.
Mr Jitin Prasada also
launched a coffee table book "Educators" by TOI, which is a compilation
of profiles of 16 private institutions in the NCR, discussing the role
of private educators in creating an education cluster.
