As per the IMC Act- 1956 and 2018 amended the Dentists Act- 1948, NTA (National Testing Agency) has distinctly advised the eligibility criteria for NEET.

MBBS is based upon the applicant’s reservation categories and rank ,and the
NEET is organized on a national level.
For courses like MBBS, VETERINARY,
AYUSH, and BDS in India, students get can
grab admissions based on their in NEET score, 10+2 marks and the reservation
category as well. Whereas, only your NEET qualifications are required for MBBS
abroad.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MBBS ABROAD :
1. Applicants must have completed 10+2
from a recognized and legitimate board.
2. Open classes certificate will not be eligible for MBBS abroad.
3. PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) in 10+2 is mandatory for the
applicants..
4. An aggregate of 50% is required in 10+2 with PCB, for the general category.
5. An aggregate of 40% is required in 10+2 in PCB, for students from the
SC/ST/OBC category.
6. English must be a mandatory
subject in the 12th standard, apart from PCB.
7. The applicants must be 17 or above as of December 31st of the year in which
they are applying for admission.
AGE criteria :
Applicants more than 25 years of age,
can appear for NEET 2020 on provincial grounds, under Writ Petition-99/2017,
the honorable SCI (Supreme Court of India). As prescribed by the GME (Graduate
Medical Education) which sets 25 years as the upper age limit before, but SC's
verdict made changes in the regulation stating, that candidates who are 25
years or above of age are allowed for their NEET-UG.

The required percentile or score for
qualifying the examination depends on the highest marks attained in the same
year and relies on the cut-off score which varies each year. However, we have

• General (UR)—110-130 marks
• General (UR) PwD—115-125 marks
• SC/ST/OBC—90-100 marks
• SC/ST/OBC—PWD—90-100 marks
WHO NEEDS TO QUALIFY FOR NEET?
It is mandatory to qualify in the
NEET examination for students who wants to study MBBS abroad as announced by
the MCI. And also for the eligibility for the screening test which compulsory
for studying Medicine India. Although, if you are someone who is eager to study
overseas, a NEET qualification isn’t required.
QUALIFYING MARKS for neet TO PURSUE MBBS ABROAD :
The qualifying marks in NEET
primarily relies on the maximum obtained marks in the exam. Likewise, the
cut-off marks also depend on the same criteria. The cut off marks for each
group and also the marks required for the past three years of the NEET

views of NTA ON NEET CUT OFF MARKS :
Even NTA wasn’t exactly definite
about the qualifying marks and also the cut-off scores, prior to the
announcement of the results of the NEET examination for that particular year. However
in 2020, NEET announced that the qualifying score might increase to about 15%
with previous year’s comparison and also the cut-off marks.
