ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The School of Civil Engineering offers a four-year civil engineering bachelor's degree programme. Civil engineering is the practise of directing natural power sources for man's use and ease in order to increase quality of life. Civil engineering philosophy and technique was mostly used in the design of cities, bridges, aqueducts, canals, river shipping ports, docks, and harbours. Civil Engineers are in high demand due to the phenomenal growth in the infrastructure sector in India and abroad. Tech degree course in Civil Engineering, which is a four-year engineering degree programme from UP Technical University, to meet the increasing demand and to meet the nation's engineering needs. The doctoral programme combines systematic analytical analysis with functional applications. The most up-to-date surveying methods, such as Total-Station and computer-assisted survey map planning, GPS, GIS, and remote sensing, are all included in the programme. Structural research with CAD sketches and construction using the most up-to-date tools, as well as instrumentation and field tests, provide all of the elements required to create a great Civil Engineer. CRITERIA FOR SELECTION

Candidate must have completed the C.B.S.E. or comparable 10+2 test with the above-mentioned aggregate percentage and English as a subject (core, elective, or functional).As of 01/08/2020, the candidate must be under the age of 21. The sum of the best four subjects (unless otherwise specified) in the 12th grade, plus English and any obligatory subject(s), will be used to calculate the aggregate of 50 percent points.

 

THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS

GGSIPU CET (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test) scores are used to determine admission.

We have specialised labs built with a range of applications catering to the needs of computer science education and study. We put a heavy focus on conducting weekly seminars to instil the ability of removing research content from journals and to hone communication skills.
