How to prepare for NEET exam in a month
It is mandatory to spend the time in an organised
way with the nearing exam day. Look through this article to know more on some
special tips to crack NEET 2021 exam in 1 month.
The
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is likely to be held in the first
week of May. Students planning to take the NEET 2021 exams have merely a month
till the crucial time arrives. But many don’t realise the importance of
managing the study time table. Yet, with a well planned approach in the last 30
days of the exam is quite sufficient to cover the syllabus in time. Here’s how
you can plan a suitable study plan and use your 1 month time efficiently.
At
this moment, one must have finished the entire syllabus from NCERT including
other reference books. Or else, others would have completed a major portion of
the NEET syllabus. You must understand that now it isn’t time to start
preparing something new. It is time to revise for the exam. It is necessary to
dedicate the final month to revision and mock tests.
Prepare a study plan
Prepare a
systematic time table and follow it till the exam day. Pursue an unique
strategy for the next one month to crack your NEET exam. You can easily come up
with a study plan in a few minutes. Pen it down in a paper and paste it on your
wall, also highlight it if necessary. Try to set alarms for the schedule you
prepared and stick to it.
Revise your syllabus
You
must include enough time for revision while planning a timetable for study. By
this time, you will be clear about the time required to revise each part of the
syllabus. On that basis, plan the time needed to revise all the three subjects.
Divide the total number of hours by 30. More or less you will be spending about
6-7 hours on revising a subject. This time is inclusive of the breaks you take
in between each chapter/subject. It is advisable that you minimise your break
time and use it potentially.
Do some mock tests
The next step of your plan is to solve the NEET mock tests.
Allocate at least 3-4 hours a day in solving mock test papers in the final
month of preparation. Or try taking three or four complete mock tests in a week
and take subject wise tests the other days. This is an important part of your
final preparation and helps you in solving the questions and improving your
speed, ultimately benefiting you on the exam day.
Learning From Your Mistakes
Solving
the mock tests alone is not enough. You also have to dedicate enough time in
analyzing your results and correcting the mistakes. Besides that, make sure to
concentrate on the part you couldn’t attempt in the test. This helps you from
committing the same errors on the day of the exam.
Spend
some leisure time
Do
spend a little time in the activities you like such as sports, painting,
watching movies and listening to music. This prevents you from getting bored
and also improves your concentration. You may take some leisure time between
revision and solving the mock test.
Necessary amount of sleep
Last
but not the least it is mandatory to have enough sleep for about 6-8 hours a
day. It may seem like a lot of time, but it is essential to get adequate rest
before the exam. Also take healthy foods and take care of yourself during this
phase.
Stay fixed on your goal
Stay
focused and stick to the timetable without fail. Doing things randomly might
end up in losing some quality time before the examination. Also, surround
yourself with energetic people and stay positive. Never give up, believe in
yourself and your preparation.
“Success
is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.”
– Winston Churchill
