ABOUT THE COLLEGE

Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering is a private engineering college in Paschim Vihar, New Delhi. This college was established in 1999 and is approved by AICTE which is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The college offers a full-time 4-year B-Tech program across 5 specializations in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology (IT), Electrical & Electronics and Instrumentation and Control Engineering.

BVCOE since its establishment has strived to provide the best engineering educations to its students. The college aims at providing the best technical education under highly qualified and experienced faculties. The college is also well equipped with modern labs and provides huge career opportunities through campus placements.

 

ABOUT THE COURSE

Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering is of four years (8 semesters) and it is a full-time undergraduate engineering program which is aimed to impart state of art education with strong foundations in computer engineering to provide a conducive environment for the development of analytical and collaborative learning skill of the students and inculcate the leadership qualities and strong ethical values among them.

The vision of this course is to develop a sense of social responsibility among the students as a centre of excellence in Computer Science and Engineering education and research so as to produce globally competent professionals having the skills and knowledge to not just learn about the world, but also bring a change in the world by making a difference.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

A candidate eligible for admission to the 4-year B-Tech degree course in Computer Science Engineering must have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2) of the Board of intermediate Education in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) as core subjects or any other equivalent examination.

 

 

 

ADMISSION PROCESS

·       The merit obtained by the students in the JEE Mains and the counselling session conducted by GGSIPU, Delhi is the basis for the admission in the college.

·       Among the total number of seats, the 90% seats are reserved by the Centralized Counselling to be conducted by GGSIP University.

·       The 10% of the total seats are reserved for Management Category. The criteria for admission to these seats will be done by the Management on the basis of merit according to the instructions of the Government of NCT, Delhi and GGSIP University.

 

DEPARTMENT OF CSE

The department is well-equipped with laboratories with latest technology computer system and software. Each laboratory is equipped with more than twenty (as per student’s practical batch size) desktop machines, with one server and a laser printer. The laboratories are fully networked and the students are provided with all the facilities to work on their projects and research works. The department is completely WIFI enabled to all the students to get online academic resources for their overall excellence.

 

FACULTY OF CSE

The course faculty is equipped with highly qualified, dedicated and hardworking professors always willing to work for continuous improvement and growth of the students. The college faculty is student centred and as the admission process is merit based so high rank holding students are preferred for the admission in the CSE department. Also, the discipline in the department is excellent.
