GMAT is one of the toughest exams to seek admission into the most renowned institutes in MBA course. The overall applications at Harvard was 9,773 applications and the total enrollment  here is about 1,000 students also the number of applications at Stanford is about 7,370 applications and the total enrollment is about 426 students every year.


MBA in US :

As per  QS survey this year for US MBA there is a decrease in the number of applications domestically , getting responses from  70 admissions officers 

The most probable reason to this resignation on a large scale ’ which is giving opportunities for the people and hence they are not opting for the MBA course further.

The first two rounds of MBA are an opportunity for those enthusiast candidates who are looking to take advantage of the decrease in the number of applications in the US 

To get admission into great colleges one must focus on the GMAT scores and try there level hard to score top or high ranks /score in the GMAT exam.


MBA in Europe:

In Europe, the number of applicants in MBA have been almost the same as last year. Also this year in Europe, the work experience of people who are participating into MBA exams  is very high that is , very experienced people are showing their interest in MBA. Europe is also expecting good number of applicants internationally.

In Europe the people are enrolling into MBA programs as the course is very affordable and the duration of the course is also very short. Also, the number of online MBA courses have increased and people are finding it a better opportunity to pursue MBA from home itself.



MBA in Asia:

In Singapore , the business area could successfully survive into the pandemic time also , although in the starting of pandemic Covid -19 they even had to face challenges but  could tackle them and came back on track.

Whereas China , has seen a drop in the application of MBA due the pandemic and their business has been impacted too due the Covid -19 . Due to the restriction imposed on the foreigners , the international applications number has also reduced .

In Hong Kong the case is different from China , people are getting attracted here as the students are going to the places where business colleges are presents and the locations are relaxed from the Covid restrictions.

Southeast Asia has seen increase in this case as it is offering face to face study policy  in MBA course and hence many international applicants are also getting good opportunity here.

students's situation when stipend is not paid

On Monday, the honorable Supreme Court , inquired the Army College of Medical Sciences
and asked why aren’t they paying stipend to the students on 1-year internship in the Army Cantonment areas.

Recently, a petition was filled by Abhishek Yadav and others regarding this stipend issue and was further accompanied by their advocate Dr Charu Mathur
who asked  about the “unjust and arbitrary “ rule.

Justices Hima Kohli and D Y Chandrachud had attempted to get reply on the issue.

As per the rules and regulations by the National Medical Commission , Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship is must with stipend and cannot be refused by any organization.

The petitioner mentioned that they had to bare the cost of accommodation and food and other expenses during the 1 year internship all alone and also had burden of the educational loan taken for completing their MBBS graduation, not getting any stipend had made it difficult to manage their expenses.

The registration date for CAT 2022 will close soon. One can check the website iimcat.ac.in to register and Rs 2300/- is required for application. The last date of registration is 14th September, 2022. This test is conducted by one of the top 7 IIMs. This is a mandatory entrance exam to study MBA. This exam will be held on 27th November, in 3 slots of 2 hours each. 

What is CAT Exam?

Common Admission Test (CAT) is an entrance exam which is mandate for the students who want to pursue MBA from 20 IIMs, FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delhi and many more. Almost more than 2 lakh candidates sit for this exam.

Salient features for this exam are as follows:

  1. It is a computer based exam at more than 155 cities and more than 400 exam venues.

  2. This exam time has been reduced to two hours from three hours since 2020.

  3. This exam is divided in three sections. They are Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning; Quantitative Ability.

  4. Each section should be finished in a specific time.

  5. IIMs will offer admission according to the CAT 2022 score.

 Only interview for admission in IIT Madras?

 There is good news for those who want to pursue MBA from reputed institutes that are government affiliated. The IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Madras has found a special admission for MBA programme. The aspirants do not have the necessity to score in CAT exam. This admission is on the basis of interview and merit. Moreover, the score in CAT is required for admission in government colleges. 

Few days earlier, IIT, Madras has stated a notice regarding this programme. This will help the students to get exposure to social media internet marketing. The students who are eligible and interested can submit applications within 10th October. 

Eligibility for MBA Admission in IITM:

Students securing 60% or more in Bachelor’s degree and have minimum 3 years of experience are eligible.

How to apply for IITM Admission, 2022?

Interested candidates can apply within 10th October. Incomplete applications are invalid. All the interested applicants must read the instructions thoroughly before applying. A fee of Rs. 1500 is paid while application submission.
