Recently we posted an article about changes happening in UK and how it will affect the International students. Brexit was repeated in the article numerous times and many of the candidate seem unaware and a bit confused about what brexit is actually. So inlink to this article we will explain you that point more clearly so that you can understand it much better and make your own opinions instead of just listening to unreliable resources.
Britain’s exit from European Union (EU) = Brexit
First of all we need to understand what is Britain?
Britain or Great Britain is made up of 3 countries i.e. England , Scotland and Wales. What is an EU? An economic and political partnership among 28 European countries. They have ‘single market’ which allows goods and people to move around freely within EU countries. Any product produced from any EU country can be sold in any other EU countries without any hassle, without any tariff or with standardized tariff.
Norway and Switzerland are not part of EU. But they are part of European Trade Area from last 20 years this issue is going on. Many political game has played. Government has done referendum also to ask the people whether they want Britain to be the part of EU or they want to separate from EU.
Why Britain wants to separate from EU?
Britain has to pay very high membership fees in EU, and they are not getting good return.
Britain can do much better than part of EU.There are restrictions in many things from EU because of that Britain is not progressing well as it could have. The Brexit secretary, Dominic Raab, has said he believes 80% of the work on completing an exit deal with the EU27 is already done, as negotiations enter their final phase.
The short-term impact of a no-deal Brexit on Britain’s economy would be “chaotic and severe”, jeopardising jobs and disrupting trade links, warn experts from the thinktank UK in a Changing Europe. So there is protest going on in UK by universities to change visa laws for international student which will allow them to work after degree in UK.
