The Graduate Record Examination opens the door for 1,200 business schools around the world and thousands of universities for research and higher studies. A basic GRE exam and Subject exam will test your full grip over a subject. The subject tests include Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Literature, Mathematics, and Psychology. The general GRE exam includes Aptitude, Reasoning and English. Undergraduates can apply for this exam. Around 378 MBA colleges and 464 MS Colleges accept GRE score. The exam is conducted thrice a year in April, September, and October.
The Application fee for GRE General Test is Rs. 13,500 – Rs. 14,500 while for Subject Test is Rs. 10,000 – Rs. 11,000. The GRE score is valid for five years. The admission is purely based on the cut-off declared by colleges. It is conducted in 22 cities. This exam also helps to grab you a scholarship at college.

How many give NMAT exam for NMIMS every year?
NMAT conducted by GMAC is an entrance exam to get into NMIMS for various courses of business management studies. There are NMIMS campus- Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderbad, Indore, Navi Mumbai and Shirpur. Other institutes accepting the scores of this exam are:
SVKMs Narsee Monjee Institute of Management studies(Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai), Xavier University, MISB Bocconi, IFCAI Business School, Thapar School of Management, VIT University and much more.
NMAT 2018 registration dates are from July 03, 2018 to October 03, 2018 while Exam dates are from October 4, 2018 to December 17, 2018. Results will be announced in the 2nd week of January 2019.
The exam has three sections with a fixed time allotted. The answers get finalized when you move on to the next section.

Registration Process:
Create an account on www.nmat.org.in using a valid e-mail id.
Provide Contact Information, Personal Information, Education and Work Experience, Preference of Course interested and then agree to Terms and Conditions. The exam will be held in 44 cities at 58 centers in India and at 4 International Centers. On the D-Day, candidates must bring the following things: Printout of Confirmation E-Mail & Admit Card, Photocopy of Primary ID, Latest photograph with one original ID( Passport/PAN Card/ Voter ID/ UID/ Aadhar Card/ Driver’s Licence).
The exam validity for NMAT exam is 1 year.

Candidates can appear only 3 times during a year for NMAT exam including the first and two retakes. The best score is counted.
88,454 students gave the NMAT by GMAC 2017 exam with a 7% rise from the last year.
For how many years is the score of NMAT valid?
‘NMAT by GMAC’ score is valid for 4/5 years while NMAT score is valid for one academic session. Therefore, if you give the exam in 2018 then the validity is from 2019-2021. The results are announced within 4 to 5 weeks after attempting the test.
