CAT 2021: List Of B-Schools Accepting CAT Scores; Admission Process

MBA 2021: Each institute sets its own cut-off marks for admitting applicants. Before announcing their CAT cut-off, an institute considers a number of factors.


New Delhi: CAT is a nationwide entrance exam for PG management initiatives at IIMs. CAT results are also taken into account by several institutes of higher learning, such as JNU & XLRI, for admitting students.

To qualify academically, the universities set their respective cut-off marks. Prior to announcing their CAT cut-off, a university perceives a host of aspects. When determining the cut-off marks, the complexity factor of the questionnaire, the overall set of test candidates, the accessibility of seats, and previous year's cut-off patterns are all taken into account.

On Nov 28, CAT 2021 was held. As a final count of 2.30 lakhs students signed up for the exam, with 85% of those showing up.

MBA Programmes: Process To Apply

Applicants must first go to the main site belonging to the MBA institution to which they wish to apply for enrollment. Most B-Schools use their endemic admission standards, and the CAT score will be used to short-list aspirants for discussion forums and debriefings. Aspirants would be screened for GD & Pl depending upon their CAT score merits.
