IIM BANGALORE TO HOST UNMAAD 2022
With the cases Covid-19 still prevalent, many institutions are hosting events and fests through the online medium. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has its batch of MBA students, who are set to conduct ‘Unmaad’, an annual cultural festival from March 4 to March 6, 2022. The theme for this year was chosen as ‘Beyond Reality’ which urges participants think outside the box and get creative.
The events that are believed to be included are some of their signatures, B-School of Rock (music), Cine-topia (dramatics), Footloose (dance) and Haute Couture (fashion). Reports suggest that at the end of the fest, there will be showdown for the battle of the Mr and Ms Unmaad title. The special guests that have been chosen to perform are Rahul Dua and Mohit Chauhan. The fest is also most likely to see a speaker series where former union minister Subramanian Swamy, movie director Vidhu Vinod Chopra, actor and screenwriter Brijendra Kala will speak on different topics.
For the unversed, IIM Bangalore’s final placement round saw a wrap after the institute’s PGP and PGPBA batch received close to 670 offers during the drive. It also created history because the drive saw 100 percent placement for all the IIM Bangalore students.
