The best part-time MBA schools in the US have just received their second ranking from Fortune. These top part-time MBA programs not only provide excellent learning materials and access to leading business school experts but also have a track record of sending their graduates to the top of the Fortune 500 list.

 

New York University (Stern) in New York, NY

EA, GRE, or GMAT scores must be submitted with an application to the part-time MBA program at New York University (Stern). The average undergraduate GPA of admitted freshmen was 3.49, and their GMAT score was 668. 1 letter of recommendation is needed, and applications must be submitted by May 15. It may be necessary for foreign students to submit their IELTS, TOEFL, or Duolingo English exam results.

 

University of Chicago (Booth) in Chicago, Illinois 

The University of Chicago Booth School of Business requires GMAT, Executive Assessment, or GRE scores from part-time MBA aspirants; it has no choice for any particular test. The average GMAT score of incoming part-time MBA students is 680.  Overseas students must provide either an IELTS or TOEFL score along with their application, and candidates are required to submit two letters of recommendation. More than 1,200 part-time MBA students were enrolled at Booth for the 2021–2022 academic year. With deadlines in September and January each year, it offers two application rounds.

 

Haas campus of the University of California, Berkeley, California

Part-time MBA applicants must provide a GMAT, GRE, or Executive Assessment result to the University of California-Berkeley (Haas). On aggregate, enrolling Haas part-time MBA candidates have a 3.39 undergraduate GPA, a 705 GMAT score, and 8 years of professional experience. To be eligible for admission, applicants must submit 2 letters of recommendation and have a TOEFL score of at least 90. The Application deadline is March 14.

 

Ann Arbor, University of Michigan (Ross), MI Ann Arbor

The weekend MBA program at the University of Michigan (Ross) strongly recommends applicants submit their EA, GMAT, or GRE scores. Candidates who meet the requirements may choose to complete a Quantitative Readiness Course instead of taking the test, and test waivers are offered to those who qualify. The mean lifespan of a learner in this program is 29, and they have been in the workforce for 6.4 years on average. A non-resident of Michigan will likely pay $150,000 in tuition for the 57-credit program.

 

Carnegie Mellon University (Tepper), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

GRE, GMAT, and EA exam exemptions are available to applicants for the part-time flex MBA program at Carnegie Mellon (Tepper) on a particular instance basis. 1 recommendation letter is needed, and the program costs $18,200 each semester. To be eligible to apply, overseas students may be required to have an IELTS or TOEFL score.

 

Los Angeles, California's University of California, Los Angeles (Anderson)

The part-time MBA program at the University of California-Los Angeles (Anderson) welcomed 430 new students in 2021, with a 67.2% admission rate. There is no minimum score requirement for entrance to the part-time MBA program, but candidates must take the GRE, GMAT, or Executive Assessment.

 

Los Angeles, California's University of Southern California (Marshall)

Until applicants request and are approved for a test exemption, USC Marshall requires candidates to its part-time MBA program to present a GRE or GMAT score. A 3.3 undergraduate GPA and a GMAT score of 650 were the norms for admitted freshmen. The program's tuition is $2,197 per unit for the 63-unit program.

 

University of Texas-Austin (McCombs), Austin, Texas

Part-time MBA candidates must send their GRE or GMAT scores to the University of Texas at Austin (McCombs), but there are several conditions under which test waivers are available. The average GMAT score of new part-time McCombs students is 650, their undergraduate GPA is 3.36, and they have over 7 years of professional experience. There are a few exemptions to the requirement that international applicants submit their TOEFL results. MBA applicants must submit their applications before May 30.

 

Seattle, Washington's University of Washington (Foster)

It is not necessary for applicants to the part-time MBA program at the University of Washington (Foster) to submit their GRE or GMAT scores, however doing so is appreciated. Foreign students must submit their applications by February 14 while U.S.-based students must do so by June 13. For acceptance, overseas students must also submit a TOEFL score along with 2 letters of recommendation.

 

Ohio State University (Fisher), Columbus, Ohio

If a student has a 3.0 GPA or above with 6 or more years of professional experience, they do not need to submit GRE, GMAT, or EA scores to the Working Professional MBA program at The Ohio State University. Candidates must be capable of demonstrating their quantitative reasoning through the curriculum at the collegiate level, work experience, a STEM degree, an advanced degree, certificates, or military experience to be exempt from the exam requirement. 389 people are enrolled in the MBA program part-time in total.
