NMIMS has started the admission process for the 2023 academic year
Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has started the admission process for the 2023 academic year. Interested candidates can apply through the official website performingarts.nmims.edu. for programs like B.A. (Music – Indian Music) (Vocal/Sitar) and B.A. (Music – Western Contemporary Music) (Vocals | Piano | Guitar | Drums).
B. A. (Music- Indian Music) (Vocal/Sitar) is a three-year course where students are given both theoretical and practical knowledge with special Riyaz sessions regularly which adds a new dimension to student learning and can help them build a thriving career," the institute said in a statement.
Whereas in the B.A. (Music – Western Contemporary Music) (Vocals | Piano | Guitar | Drums) students are trained by industry coaches with theoretical, practical, and technical approaches.to top it all off they also offer a 40-hour internship program where students can get a chance to work with famous producers, composers, and production houses.
To be able to join the course students are required to pass the class 12 examination in any stream with a minimum of 50%. Special consideration is given to students who exhibit special skills and a proclivity to music.
Selection of students for both programs will be done based on 2-5 minute unlisted and unedited YouTube videos uploaded by them. Shortlisted students will be called for an online audition on a date provided by the school.
