preparation time table for cat exam

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a highly competitive exam that requires adequate preparation. Here's a sample time table that you can follow to prepare for the CAT exam:

Month 1:

Start with taking a diagnostic test to evaluate your strengths and weaknesses.

Familiarize yourself with the exam pattern, syllabus and the types of questions that come in the CAT exam.

Brush up your fundamentals in Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension, and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning.

Start practicing easy to medium level questions and gradually move to the advanced level.

Keep taking small breaks in between to avoid burnout.

Month 2:

Focus on improving your speed and accuracy in solving problems.

Solve mock tests and analyze your performance to identify areas where you need improvement.

Devote extra time to topics you find difficult.

Try to maintain a balance between all the three sections.

Month 3:

By now, you should have a good grasp on the concepts and types of questions asked in the exam.

Work on developing test-taking strategies and time-management skills.

Attempt full-length mock tests regularly to simulate the actual exam environment and build your endurance.

Analyze your performance and identify areas that need improvement.

Keep revising and practicing regularly.

In the final weeks leading up to the exam, focus on revising and consolidating your knowledge. Make sure you take proper breaks and stay healthy, both physically and mentally, during the preparation phase. Good luck with your CAT exam!
