The study plan should be customised based on your strong and weak areas of interest.

READING:- You should read articles or news magazines that interests you for an hour. Take a test and try to complete within 60 minutes. Assess yourself and practice from past year’s papers. Practice skim and scan reading.

 

WRITING:-Understand  the format of writing task 1 and task 2 and it’s guidelines. Learn about Task 1:- Data description essays, process description essays, map description essays Task 2:- opinion essay, problem/solving essay, advantage/disadvantage essay, double/direct questions essay. Practice writing essays from past papers. Write task 1 in 20 mins and task 2 in 40 mins. Read answers from sample papers and review all the essays for improvement.

 

SPEAKING:- Speak on topics that interests you and record them and listen. Assess yourself and try to improve your weakness. Ask others to listen to your speech and give feedbacks. Try speaking for 2 mins on each topics confidently and fluently.

 

LISTENING:- Listen to monologues and conversation between two and more people, English documentaries, news or any entertainment channels. Try to solve audio scripts from past tests and check the answers and assess yourself. Listen to your areas of interest, take practice tests and ask for feedbacks from others.

 

For all 4 modules take a final IELTS practice test in the last week.
