ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test (IBSAT) is the common aptitude test for seeking admission in the management programs at ICFAI Business School spread across India. Candidates looking for admission into the MBA/ Executive PG Programs must qualify IBS Aptitude Test (IBSAT 2008). Multiple choice questions were asked at IBSAT which is followed by a general essay test. The candidates have to complete there test within 2 hours duration. The test is designed to check the applicant’s ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

Eligibility Criteria for IBSAT:

• Applicant must have bachelor's degree from any discipline, with 50% minimum marks obtained. .
• Applicant appearing in graduation final year can also apply.

IBSAT Test Pattern:

• Duration of IBSAT entrance test: 2 hours
• Objective questions generated at IBSAT exam is from the following sections: quantitative techniques, data adequacy, and vocabulary, reading comprehension, data interpretation and analytical reasoning.

Selection Procedure of IBSAT 2010:

Merit list is prepared on the basis of candidate’s performance in IBSAT test. The short listed candidates are called for the final selection process. The procedure of selection will be completed in one day.

Weightage allotted to different sections for admission to ICFAI is as follows:

• IBSAT - 25%
• Past Academic Record - 20 %( 10th-7%, 12th-7%, Degree-6%)
• General Knowledge Test- 10%
• Micro presentation - 20%
• Interview - 20%
• General Essay (in English) - 5%

Admission Procedure

Through ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test (IBSAT) 2005 will be held on December 18, 2005 (Sunday) all over India.
Interviews conducted on February 2006.

Application Modalities are with reference to IBSAT 2005, the Common Admission Test for ICFAI Business School (IBS), ICFAI National College (INC), ICFAI School of Financial Studies (ISFS), ICFAI School of Marketing Studies (ISMS), ICFAI School of Human Resource Development (ISHRD).
IBSAT (ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test) : IBSAT is based on GMAT format with multiple choice questions and tests the applicant’s abilities in quantitative techniques, data adequacy, vocabulary, writing skills, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.

Notifications

Last date for submission of OMR Application Form along with a DD for Rs.600 towards application processing fee: November 30, 2005 (Please submit the OMR Application Form as early as possible to improve the chances of getting the test center of your choice)
Online Admit Cards : From October 15, 2005 onwards at www.icfai.org/ibsat (No hard copies will be mailed)
