NIFT to hold exhibition of its students' work
Ahmedabad: In an attempt to provide a platform for its students to showcase their work, the department of fashion and textiles of National Institute of Fashion Technology, (NIFT) Gandhinagar will organise an exhibition called Tantu - 2010 at Hotel Pride on May 5.
The works of 35 students of the department, focusing on different areas like home, apparel and others will be put up on display during the exhibition.
The students will display an array of designs, patterns and materials including works based on industry demand, those focused on the common man, tourist market, export market and others.
"The works will reflect the three years of our education and efforts in the area," said one of the students, Gunjan Panchal.
