IIM-Rohtak invites applications for MBA
Admissions to IIM Rohtak have commenced and the last date to apply to IIM-Rohtak is April 20. IIM Rohtak is the the ninth Indian Institute of Management (IIM) opened in Haryana after IIM Ranchi.
ADMISSIONS TO the IIM Rohtak have commenced and the last date to apply to IIM-Rohtak is April 20,2010 and the form has to be sent to IIM Lucknow. IIM Rohtak is the the ninth Indian Institute of Management (IIM) opened in Haryana after IIM Ranchi.
Students, who appeared for CAT 2009 can apply to the Management programmes at IIM Rohtak. The Institute will be functional from the academic year 2010 offering a two year post graduate programme. The cutoff announced is 95 percentile and above. The new IIM will be mentored by IIM Lucknow. The fees for the two year programme is Rs 3 lakh per year. The new IIM also has plans to tie up with US-based Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
In August last year, the government approved setting up four IIMs at Tiruchirapalli (Tamil Nadu), Ranchi (Jharkhand), Raipur (Chhattishargh) and Rohtak (Haryana) in 2009-10, which would become functional from the academic session 2010-11.
The construction of the new IIM is on but as per the memorandum signed between the two, the classes will be held in Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak for the time being.
