Every year, Centre for Management Services (CMS) of All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts a popular national entrance test i.e. Management Aptitude Test (MAT) in the months of September, December, February and May. Other than AIMA there are around 488 other Management institutes which accept MAT score for selection of candidates. All management institutes that accept MAT score are either AICTE (All Indian Council for Technical Education) approved or affiliated to universities. The management aspirants who are desirous to get admission into the post graduate management courses at various prestigious management institutes in the country have to go through with MAT exam. The MAT score is valid for a period of one year.

Eligibility Criteria for MAT:

• Candidate should have completed Bachelor's Degree with minimum marks obtained is 50% or equivalent.
• Candidate appearing in graduation final year with result awaited can also apply.
MAT Test Pattern:
• The aptitude test contains 200 Questions covered under Five Sections
• Time allotted is 150 minutes.
• The questions are based on Language Comprehension, Mathematical skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning & Indian and Global Environment with 40 question each.
Score for MAT Test:

Candidates seeking admission in MBA in a primer management institutes must have scored high in the entrance test and get the ranks as per the criteria fixed by institutes. The graduates who have scored between “700+ to 670+” in the entrance can get call from IILM Academy for Higher Education, Greater Noida, Christ College, Bangalore, MS Ramaiah Institute of Management, Bangalore, Birla Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida, Amity Business School, Noida. Those who have scored 650+ in the entrance can apply at Indian Institute of Finance, Delhi.

• Last date of sale of forms/online registration: 07 April 2010 (Wednesday)
• Last date for receipt of filled-in forms at AIMA, New Delhi: 10 April 2010 (Saturday)
• Last date for online registration: 09 April 2010 (Friday)
• Last date for submission of online registration printout at AIMA, New Delhi :12 April 2010 (Monday)
• Paper-Pencil Test will be held on 02 May 2010 (Sunday). The paper-pencil test timing is 1000 – 1230 hrs.
• Computer Based Test (Online Test) will be held from From 08 May 2010 (Saturday)
