11 lakh took the paper-based AIEEE 2012


This was the first time; CBSE conducted the paper-based AIEEE only in smaller cities to encourage the students from Tier 1 cities to take the online format of the exam. See details

From next year, AIEEE and IIT JEE will be replaced by Indian Science Engineering Eligibility Test (ISEET).
To check the use of fraudulent methods and paper leaks, CBSE had made special arrangements this year.
