While IIT JEE
results will be declared on May 18, 2012 students will be able to
have a look at their answer sheets much before the actual
results. For the first time ever, IIT
JEE authorities have decided to upload
the evaluated answer sheets of the IIT
aspirants who took JEE that happened on
April 08, 2012.
The answer sheets will be available online from May 05 to May 10, 2012 and students will be able to see for their any discrepancies in the evaluation of their sheets. Accordingly, they'll have the opportunity to lodge a request for discrepancy check.
Students can utilise this opportunity to submit requests for revision anytime before 5pm on May 10. The representatives will to consider the requests by the students and if found correct, the responses will be updated by May 14. IITD director, R Shevgaonkar said, "it may happen that the scanner does not pick up correct responses if a candidate has not filled the response bubble completely".
"In such a case, they can simply lodge a complaint and we will go through it before the preparation of the final merit list," he further said.
