IFIM Business School,
Bangalore is going to organize its 6th International Conference -
‘Convergence 2014’ at IFIM B School, Electronics City, Bangalore on
January 9, 2014-January 10, 2014.
The theme of the
conference is Ethical Leadership- the Indian Way. It is being organized
under the aegis of V. B. Padode Centre for Sustainability, an IFIM and
INFOSYS initiative, in collaboration with European SPES Forum, Leuven,
Belgium and Business Ethics Centre of Corvinus University, Budapest,
Hungary.
Mr. C.K Venkatraman - CEO Jewellery Division, Titan Companies
will be the Chief Guest on the occasion. This year the conference is
being organized under the aegis of ‘Convergence 2014’ to offer a
platform for educationists and practicing communities of different
areas to exchange ideas, research and opinions on the subject of
business ethics. It will also create an opportunity for research
aspirants and young professionals to explore new avenues in ethical
business with spiritual influence and articulate their vision for a
sustainable future.
The eminent speakers

The conference will highlight the various similarities and differences between Indian and European philosophies of leadership focusing on the ethical and sustainable business models in India to that of other parts of the world. It will talk about the spiritual orientations to businesses in the country and the contribution of spirituality to renew contemporary management theory and practices.

IFIM Business School, Bangalore
was founded in the year 1995 with its first batch of students
graduating in 1997. It has taken a number of initiatives in
collaborating with leading academic, research and corporate
organizations, for conducting executive education, corporate training,
research & consulting. Apart from a 2 year full time PGDM course it
offers the courses of PGDM (Finance) and PGDM (International Business).
It is one of the few private management institutes that have been
approved to offer a Ph. D program in Management.
