The first single national level entrance test, CMAT (Common Management Aptitude Test) for admission to the AICTE approved institutes, is scheduled to be held over a testing period of 9 days starting from February 20, 2012. The exam will be conducted in 61 major cities of India. Clouded with a bunch of queries about CMAT, students you must be busy with your last minute revision. CMAT 2012 Paper Pattern
CMAT will be an online test of duration 180 minutes. The paper will be divided into 4 sections; namely Language Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative techniques & Data Interpretation and General Awareness. The paper will have a negative marking system where 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Each test taker will be given a desk with a computer and a paper for doing rough work. The students are required to leave the rough paper at their desks after completing the exam.
The students can download their admit cards from the official website of AICTE. Over 200 AICTE approved business schools will be accepting CMAT scores for admission to various management programs. You can still make it to one of the good B-schools in India!
