Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) learned the new management tricks from man who has created a history in viral marketing. National award winning actor Dhanush, who has become so famous after the success of 'Kolaveri Di' delivered a lecture at IIM-A. He discussed the success story of his soup song at the leading institute.
He is so popular among the youth of India that he has created a place for himself in the education market. Dhanush tweeted about the invitation, "Gearing up to make my speech at IIM institute Ahmedabad tom. I don't know good English, but who cares. I'm an Indian. Not English."
The actor delivered hour-and-a-half long lecture regarding the huge success of this 'flop song', its viral marketing and social media to about 130 students of Contemporary Film Industry course at the IIM-A.
This musical delight became a ranging success with more than 10 million downloads online in a short span of time. The IIMs are treating it as one of the best example of viral marketing and included as a case study for its students.
