IIM-B hikes its Postgraduate Program fee to Rs 15 lakh

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-B) has increased its 2 year fee for PGP (Post-Graduate Program) from Rs 13 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.

The hike in fee will be made effective for the academic session 2012-14. The fee will include library and internet fees, tution, case permission royalty apart from the cost of hostel room, course material, medical insurance, service charge and personal accident insurance. The total intake capacity for PGP course will remain 375.

Last time the institute increased its fee by Rs 1.5 lakh, 2 years ago. Now with the recent hike, the fee of IIM-B will become close to that of IIM-A, which has hiked its fee to Rs 15.5 lakh for the coming academic session from the present fee of Rs 14.45 lakh. The premier institutes ranked among the best business schools in India will remain the most expensive IIMs to pursue management course.
