Computer Science: Luring the tech-savvy generation

BSc (H) Computer Science Over the years, the study of computing science has gained importance because of its increasing use in communication, entertainment, appliances, educational institutions, government, and business.
ABachelorsDegreeinComputerScience, therefore, has become one of the choicest cours- es for aspiring students to pursue after 10+2. The three-year degree course lays strong foundations for students who wish to pursue their careers in this rapidly growing field.
BSc (H) Computer Science is offered in 15 constituent colleges of the University of Delhi.
Readers should note that NO college of the University offers BCA. Humanities/Commerce/Science students having Mathematics in their curriculum are eligible for admission on merit basis.
Admission is given based on a cut-off percentage in aggregate of four subjects including Mathematics and one language.
A minimum requirement in Mathematics is also prescribed. Science students are given additional weightage.
BSc (H) Computer Science is a self- financed course, follows semester sys- tem and is considered tough!
During the last few years, DU colleges running this course have been able to ensure excellent results and students are able to get good placement in the indus- try.
