IIM KOLKATTA
Introduction
Over the past four decades, IIM–Calcutta has blossomed into one of Asia's finest business schools. Its vision to emerge as an international centre of excellence in all facets of management education, rooted in Indian ethos and societal values. Today, IIM–Calcutta attracts the best talent in India — a melting pot of academia, industry and research. The best and brightest young men and women pursue its academic programmes. A growing community of students, faculties, alumni and other target audience interact online over the web everyday at IIM–Calcutta. The Internet has redefined the way IIM–Cians communicate with each other.

Programs
PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management)
The course enjoys a two-tier structure. The first year is committed to developing business fundamentals through compulsory courses spanning the areas of economics, finance, marketing, operations, systems and behavioral sciences. The second year offers more number of electives than any other B-School in India. The flexibility in the system ensures that a student at no point makes a compromise with his desired area of pursuit.
PGDCM (Post Graduate Diploma in Computer – Aided Management)
Managers today, therefore, are faced with the challenge to rapidly absorb the changes in information technology and leverage them within their functional role. This program equips students with tools to solve management problems with a strategic outlook. The integrated nature of this program trains the students to inculcate the abilities of solving complex business problems as well as an e-touch.
The electives and the core courses will ground you to be ready to take on challenges in the area of information technology along with the business fundamentals in the areas of economics, finance, marketing, operations and behavioral sciences. The second year offers more number of electives than any other B-School in India.
