Mahavir Swami Institute of Technology (MVSIT) is a flagship institute of Bhagwan Mahavir Group of Institutions under the support of Bhagwan Mahavir Education Foundation which is a premium institute approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India & Bar Council of India and affiliated to GGSIP University, Delhi. The college offers Bachelor in Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, BBA and BA (LLB).

The institute is situated near KMP (Kundli-Maneshar-Palwal) highway at Jagdishpur, District- Sonepat in National Capital Region (NCR). The campus is full of greeneries with pollution free environment having world class infrastructure which makes it a perfect place for higher learning.

The Department of Computer Science at MVSIT has been established to impart quality education in the field of Computer Science. The Department carries modern facilities for teaching, learning and research. The Department offers a variety of array of research opportunities and programs of study at undergraduate courses
The department of computer science provides students those who have enrolled in the undergraduate broad knowledge in all areas of computer science, and an overall perspective of the field, its structure, and this department of the institution also teaches how to program efficiently in numerous languages and computer systems such as Java, C++, Python etc.
The Computer Science Department gives admission to students to an undergraduate program of 4 years where they guarantee meticulous and dedicated effort for the real-world training and practical problem solving that has been the distinctive feature of computer science engineering at MVSIT since its establishment.  The department is continuously proving exciting growth over a long period of time and opportunity spur by the growth of technology and its recognition through excellence with rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation. They have well equipped lab as well for practical works The Department has produced quality professionals holding important positions in the IT industry in Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Sopra Steria, Accenture, Xceedance, Real Time Data Services and many more.

·        Applying the knowledge of Mathematics, Science and Computer Science and Engineering to solve complex engineering problems related to the design, development, testing and maintenance of computing systems are learned by the students thoroughly.

·        Designing and building a system, component, processing or a programming for complex engineering problems by factoring in all the requirements and various design tradeoffs, with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, cultural, societal and environmental factors are needed to be done by the students.

·        Creating, selecting and applying state of the art tools and techniques in designing, developing and testing a computing system or its component individually as well as in multidisciplinary teams can too be managed by the students undergoing this course.

 Students have to pass in 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core/ elective/ functional) in the qualifying examination.

Admissions Criteria: All applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main Paper 1 Conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). The admissions would be based on the merit / rank in the JEE.  Note: Blind (including color blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates shall not be eligible for admission in these courses.

2.

Lateral B.Tech with Diploma course

10+3 level with 75% + JEE Main as said above.
