ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING AT MAHAVIR SWAMI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

 ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

MAHAVIR SWAMI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

In Mahavir Swami Institute of Technology (MVSIT), initially there were 60 seats for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch. The faculty are highly qualified, hardworking, and efficient in their profession. MVSIT provides students with solid foundation, creating future thinkers to build successful careers. The campus is surrounded by enormous greenery situated in a very peaceful and pollution free environment.

ECE is pledged to give complete excellence in education and research. Firm recruitment policies, high standards for educational outcomes, conspicuous infrastructure, bold and dynamic placement initiatives. The students here, are trained in both academic and industry level of education by their teachers. There is also a mini project in the pre-final semester so as to help students get a hands-on experience on their subjects.

There are many career options for ECE like Nano-electronic chip, Robotics, Computer hardware, Biomedical, Nano Engineering, Computer software, Aerospace industry, Business, Solar energy harvesting and distribution.

Vision:

§  To educate futuristic and ingenious engineers in advanced Technical and Research field.

§  To progress the ECE Department as heart and soul of excellence.

Mission:

Ø  To set up a learning environment for students to face the challenges in ECE.

Ø  To set forth quality education and to cultivate innovation and research in the field of ECE.

Ø  To build the gap between students and industry by helping them interact with the industry and research organizations regularly.

Ø  To enhance the knowledge of students with modern technologies and skills to handle technological problems.

Ø  To establish an environment to faculty for research by working with advanced organisations.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (POEs):

·        To prosper the professional ethics and moral values with a perception of social responsibility and enhance their aptitude for engineering design and innovations.

·        To gain a strong and stable knowledge base in ECE with a perspective to become successful engineers who can work with great ease at industries, research, and development laboratories.

·        To train students with good understanding of their subjects with relevant design, problem solving, and analytical skills.

·        To ensure students communicate productively and make use of resources effectively as members and leaders of the profession.

·        The engineering students must be able to cope up with existing and newly emerging projects as the technology advances in ECE.

·        To inspire engineering graduates to aspire higher education.

·        The students will be able to bring success and glory to the industry or company they work in.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES (POs):

v  The engineering graduates will have adequate knowledge in their subjects to bring solutions for engineering problems to help the society.

v  The graduates will be able to manifest their oral and written communication skills efficiently.

v  By using the Mathematical techniques and scientific reasoning skills, the graduates can solve real time problems in ECE.

v  The graduates can make effective decisions on the problems they solve, by logical, analytical and reasoning skills.

v  To examine their solutions on global standards and see to it that their solution is useful and harmless to the society.

v  They possess the ability to inspect and simplify experimental data.

v  The graduates have the capability to put in their creative and innovative ideas to implement the components, equipment, system and subsystems of electronic circuits and related applications.

v  The graduates are good enough to face the competitive exams and pursue higher education.

v  The engineering graduates can assemble modern technologies required for implementing real time applications.
