NMAT 2010
Every year, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies conducts a popular entrance test i.e. NMAT for Post graduate management programme. NMAT is conducted “between” 30th January to 8th February every year.
Programs covered under NMAT test are:
• MBA Core
• MBA (Pharmaceuticals Management)
• MBA (Actuarial science)
• MBA (Capital Markets)
• MBA (Banking)
• MBA (Part - Time)
• Ph.D Program in Management
• EPGDBM
Eligibility Criteria for NMAT:
Indian national
• Candidate should have completed Bachelor's Degree with minimum marks obtained is 50% or equivalent.
• Candidate appearing in graduation final year with result awaited can also apply
International candidates:
• International Candidate appearing for NMAT must hold Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized University by the AIU with minimum 50% marks.
• Preference will be given to candidates holding two years of post qualification work experience
NMAT Test Pattern:
• Duration of NMAT entrance test: 120 minutes (2 hrs)
• Number of questions generated: 120
• The test is based on multiple choices
• The questions are based on Language Skills; Quantitative Skills, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency; and Logical Reasoning.
• For each incorrect answer 0.75 marks are deducted
Selection Procedure of NMAT 2010:
• Merit list is prepared on the basis of candidate’s performance in NMAT test. The short listed candidates are called for the final selection process.
Registration of NMAT Test:
• The candidates who are interested in the program can register themselves with the NMAT website.
• Offline application forms are available on request or by post and by collecting them personally through cash or through demand draft.

Ahmedabad , Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur.
Important Dates for NMAT:
• Dates of entrance exam (if you are testing within India) : 30th January 2010 to 8th February 2010
• Dates of entrance exam (if you are testing outside India) : 1st February 2010 to 5th February 2010
• Declaration of result on NMIMS website : 2nd March 2010 from 5:00 PM IST onwards

ReplyDeleteHi, you should have Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) in Life Sciences/ Pharmacy, Microbiology and bio-tech, bio-chemistry from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Also Post Graduates in Sociology / psychology / Economics / Anthropology are eligible. Two years post qualification work experience will be preferred.

ReplyDeleteHi, you should have Bachelor’s Degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from recognized University OR Equivalent pattern recognized by the UGC & AIU with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. Five Years Post qualification work experience in Supervisory / Executive Cadre as on 31st December 2009 is essential.
