Joint Entrance for Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT)
West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) Conducts Joint Entrance for Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) to choose appropriate management aspirants who are looking for management programmes in institutions/colleges located in west Bengal. A large number of management aspirants from West Bengal go through JEMAT to get admission in the primer management institutes in West Bengal. There are around 39 MBA institutes, which select candidates on the performance based on JEMAT score. The candidates who are desirous to get an admission in MBA institutes in Postgraduate programme will have to appear for written test Candidates screened on the basis of JEMAT performance will be called for Group Discussion and Interview by the individual colleges / institutes.

Eligibility Criteria for JEMAT:
• Candidate should have completed Bachelors degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medical/ Dental/ Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized
• Candidate appearing in graduation final year with result awaited can also apply.
JEMAT Test Structure:
• Duration of JEMAT entrance test: 2 hours
• Objective questions generated at JEMAT exam is from the following sections: English, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning
• Weightage allotted to written test is 100 marks.
Registration of JEMAT Test:
• The candidates who are interested in the programme can register themselves with the West Bengal University of Technology i.e. www.wbut.net.
• The application form can be filled up and submitted to the University Office along with a DD of Rs 700.00 / 350.00 for SC/ST (without late fine) and Rs 900.00 / 450.00 for SC/ST (with late fine) in favour of WBUT-JEMAT payable at Kolkata.
